Fermata
Fermata was a passion piece where I was the writer, director, actor, and editor for the film. It was showcased at the Central Michigan International Film Festival and got great reception. Balancing comedy with drama was my goal for this film and I couldn't be more proud of how it turned out.
Always Watching
This short film was a great culmination of my time at Central Michigan. This was the end result of one of the higher level classes where the entire class was to make a short film. I was tasked with on site audio but ended up doing audio, music, sound effect, and some assistant editing like the intro TV scene. It was a great production and I learned how well I can contribute to a big team under pressure.
IDWCA
As an independent film maker working on solo pieces is where I found the power of storytelling. Being inspired by what was around me it was a fun task to tell a dense story with visually stimulating scenes without much production value behind it. This is my favorite short piece that shows the power behind limitations.
Primary Task
Primary Task was my short film where I worked on stop motion animation and making that blend with real action. Working with my equipment on hand I learned a lot about the process of making shots line up and being able to work with footage of all kind. This was entirely done solo by me and ignited a passion for trying to reach beyond what I've done before.
